BEVERLY HILLS (WPVI) -- A suspect tried to steal exotic cars from a rental business in Beverly Hills. But he couldn't get the high-end cars past the metal gate.

Authorities said the suspect smashed a McLaren into the gate while trying to steal it.

He also doused one Ferrari with gasoline and ripped the panels off another.

Surveillance video captured the two-hour break in.

The manager said the man was drunk and harassing employees earlier in the day.

Los Angeles police are searching for him.

He caused at least $50,000 in damage to the luxury rides.
