PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The School District of Philadelphia has called off classes again for Tuesday at John B. Kelly Elementary school.

In a statement released on the district's website, the district cites an "ongoing facilities issue" as the reason for the closure. The school has been closed since last Thursday, when traces of mold were found in several classrooms due to heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) issues and condensation damage.

The district said the final cleanup will take place Tuesday and the school will reopen Wednesday, October 18.

On Sunday, the district called classes for Monday, stating the facilities were in the final stages of cleanup due to a mold issue uncovered last week.

Kelly staff will report to the Hill Freedman World Academy located at 1100 Mt. Pleasant Street, 19150 on Tuesday.
