Philadelphia woman celebrates 103rd birthday with a dance

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia woman hit the dance floor in celebration of her 103rd birthday.

Miss Harriet Powell broke it down Tuesday at the NewCourtland Life Center in Germantown.

The staff threw her a birthday celebration combined with a Welcome to the New Year party.

Powell is a retired Temple University employee.

When asked about her secret for longevity, she says her life is an open book, and she loves to dance.
