WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Firefighters in Delaware rescued a man and a dog from the icy Brandywine River.

The pet had gotten loose and fell through the ice. Three people tried to save the dog, but they also fell in.

When firefighters arrived late Sunday night, a man and the dog were still in the water.

The Action Cam was there as crews used ladders to reach the man.

The firefighters then climbed down to harness the dog, and pull it up to safety.
