UPPER DARBY, Pa. (WPVI) -- Two suspects stole a woman's car while she was working out at a Planet Fitness, Upper Darby police say.

Police released photos of the two female suspects on Tuesday morning.

Investigators say the young women entered a planet fitness in Drexel Hill asking to use the bathroom. But Meghan Kelly, a gym member who was working out there at the time, says their intentions were not that simple.

"I could tell that somebody had been in my belongings. The person took my keys and they took my wallet and then I went outside to the parking lot my car was gone," said Kelly.

Kelly admits she left her belongings in the locker room unsecured, but she never dreamed anything like this could happen.

"I was shocked. I was totally shocked and then I was very upset because my car was new, so I am very very upset," she said.

One person who is not shocked is Upper Darby police superintendent Michael Chitwood.

"Thefts of lockers in health clubs or gyms or whatever is not at all that uncommon. What is uncommon is that they stole the car," said Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood.

Police released an image of the type of car stolen - a 2016 Hyundai Veloster Coupe with Pennsylvania license of KGZ-0856.

Meghan Kelly has a message for the people behind this.

"Don't ever do this to anyone ever again. Don't put anybody what you put me through," Kelly said. "Please just bring my car back!"

Anyone with information should call police at 610-734-7693.
