Flames shoot from North Philadelphia home

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Fire shot from a rowhome in North Philadelphia and the flames could be seen for miles.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. Sunday on the 1400 block of North 7th Street.

Firefighters battled the fire in the bitter cold.

Officials say the home was not occupied. The search continues for the cause of the fire.
