3-alarm fire at landscaping business in Lower Providence Twp.

LOWER PROVIDENCE TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Firefighters were called to battle a multi-alarm fire at a landscaping business in Lower Providence Township, Montgomery County.

It happened around 8:25 p.m. in the 400 block of North Park Avenue.

Upon arrival, crews were met with heavy flames coming from the Valley Crest Landscaping company building.

The fire reached three alarms before it was brought under control.

There was a concern because of the propane tanks housed on the property.

Out of precaution a number of agencies were called including hazmat crews.

However no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
