3 people were arrested in a drug sweep in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

TRENTON (WPVI) -- Authorities in Mercer County have arrested three people and seized more than $30,000 in narcotics as a result of a four-month investigation that spanned New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Acting Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri also announced the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force seized three guns and more than $20,000 in cash.

Onofri stated that at approximately 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, officers Narcotics Task Force executed search warrants at four locations in Trenton, Ewing and Levittown, Pa.

The warrants were executed after officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on the target of the investigation, Ricardo Moise, at the corner of Lincoln and North Clinton avenues in Trenton.

Kenneth Veal was detained as he departed one of the homes on the 320 block of Ardmore Avenue in Trenton in a 2007 black Audi Q7 for which officers had a warrant to search.

Troy Singletary was taken into custody at 88 Evans Avenue in Trenton.

Authorities say a search of the 2006 silver Dodge Magnum that Moise was driving revealed a hidden trap in the center console. Inside were 53 bricks of heroin.

Further search of the trap revealed a loaded Smith & Wesson revolver that was defaced, a loaded .40 caliber Smith & Wesson semi-automatic handgun found to be stolen, a large capacity magazine containing 24 .40 caliber bullets and $1,000.

The Audi Q7 and a 2006 Jeep Cherokee were also seized.

Police say the estimated street value of the seized drugs is approximately $31,860.

Moise, 26, is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, three counts of possession with the intent to distribute, two counts of possession with the intent to distribute within 500 feet of a park, three counts of possession with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of marijuana over 50 grams, two counts of possession of a defaced firearm, two counts of possession of a firearm while committing a narcotics offense, certain persons not to possess a weapon, unlawful possession of hollow-point bullets, unlawful possession of a high-capacity magazine and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $200,000 cash or bond.

Veal, 26, of Ardmore Avenue, is charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, two counts of possession with the intent to distribute, two counts of possession with the intent to distribute within 500 feet of a park, two counts of possession with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of marijuana over 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $25,000 cash or bond.

Singletary, 52, of Evans Avenue, is charged with possession of a prescription legend drug. He was released pending future court proceedings.
