3 robbed, car stolen in Roxborough gunpoint holdup

ROXBOROUGH (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are searching for three suspects in an early morning armed robbery in the city's Roxborough section.

Police say it was around 12:30 Monday morning when a woman, who was trying to unlock the front door of her house on the 500 block of Gerhard Street, turned around and found three masked gunmen confronting her and her friends.

She noticed one of the suspects had another victim bent over the front of a car with a gun pointed at his head.

The suspects took the woman's purse and a wallet, $20 from the male victim, and a purse, glasses, credit card, and iPhone from a third victim.

They then took the first victim's keys and stole her car, backing into and causing damage to a nearby parked car while making their getaway.

None of the victims were injured.

All three suspects remain at large.
