Giving back to the Trenton community in a big way

TRENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- The Smith Family Foundation of New Jersey is giving back to the Trenton community in a big way.

12 local chosen non-profits will share a $100,000 dollar grant from the foundation.

Some of them include the Girl Scouts of Trenton, the Children's Home Society and the Trenton Children's Chorus.

The Smith Family Foundation is the only African American owned and operated philanthropic foundation in Trenton.
