Passengers get stuck on SEPTA bus in West Mt. Airy. Jim Gardner reports during Action News at 11 p.m. on March 2, 2018.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A busload of SEPTA passengers spent hours stuck along Wayne Avenue Friday evening in Philadelphia's West Mount Airy section.

A large tree fell around 6 p.m. in front of the bus in the 6400 block and live wires came down just behind the bus.

Everyone had to stay put until PECO could shut off the power 3 hours later.

Fortunately, no one was hurt.
