Woman injured after tree falls on car in Fairmount Park

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- A woman was injured after a tree fell right on top of her car on Kelly Drive in Fairmount Park.

She was driving near Falls Bridge around 5:45 p.m. Friday when the tree toppled onto the roof of her car.

The woman, who is in her 30s, suffered head injuries.

She was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.
