Teaching the elements of gardening

PAULSBORO, N.J. (WPVI) -- Students in Paulsboro, New Jersey are celebrating the start of a healthy project.

Children and school officials broke ground on a school garden at Loudenslager Elementary Tuesday.

All of the produce grown here will allow the school to put a wider variety of fruits and vegetables on the lunch menu.

Working in the garden the students will also gain valuable knowledge about nutrition and have the chance to connect with nature.
