Man shot at point-blank range in Frankford

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was shot at point-blank range in the Frankford section of Philadelphia early Friday morning.

The shooting happened around 2 a.m. in the 2100 block of Anchor Street.

The victim was hit in the groin and collapsed between two parked cars.

He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

There was no word on a suspect or motive in this shooting.
