NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A newly-renovated condo building in North Philadelphia will help homeless people get back on their feet.

Wednesday the city held a grand opening for The Lofts at 2601, which now occupy the old North Broad Station.

There are 56 apartments for formerly homeless residents, plus a community food pantry and a computer lab for everyone to share.

The Volunteers of America Delaware Valley joined forces with other groups to get this renovation project done.
