Motorcyclist killed in Newark, Delaware crash

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- One person was killed in a motorcycle accident in Newark, Delaware on Monday afternoon.

Chopper 6 HD was over the scene near Route 273 at Red Mill Road.

That's where a motorcyclist died just after 1 p.m.

The road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.

Police have not yet released information on a cause or the victim's identity.
