Food Bank of Delaware plans for a four acre farm.
They hope to grow 60,000 pounds of produce by fiscal year 2022.

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- The Food Bank of Delaware is planning to grow a four acre farm on the site of its future home in Newark.

The official announcement was made Tuesday morning at that site on Lake Drive.

The project is already underway.

It's funded by $400,000 dollars in donations from Dupont and its subsidiary Corteva Agri-science.

The plan is to grow 60,000 pounds of produce by fiscal year 2022.
