Police: Woman found dead in SW Phila. from self-inflicted wound

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a woman found dead on a Southwest Philadelphia street died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The woman was found naked, except for socks on her feet, on the 4600 block of Springfield Street around midnight Tuesday.

Officers recovered a handgun at the scene.

Authorities say there was no foul play.
