SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Paramedics responded to the scene of a crash involving a school bus in South Philadelphia Monday evening.

Officials say it was around 4:30 p.m. when a pickup truck rear-ended the school bus around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of 15th Street and Passyunk Avenue.

28 students from the Al-Aqsa Islamic Academy, located on Germantown Avenue, were on the bus at the time of the accident.

Five of the children were transported to CHOP after complaining of pain. However, all injuries are reported to be minor.

The ages of the victims are unknown at this time.

Police are investigating.
