9 injured in crash involving SEPTA bus in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Nine people are hospitalized following a crash involving a SEPTA bus and another vehicle in West Philadelphia.

The accident occurred around 12:40 p.m. Monday on the 4600 block of Haverford Avenue.

According to police, a Route 13 SEPTA bus was involved in the crash.

Paramedics took a total of nine people to various hospitals for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries. Three were taken to Misercacordia, three were taken to Presbyterian Hospital and three were taken to The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

There is no word at this time what caused the accident.
