PENNSAUKEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Investigators are working to find the cause of a blaze on the first floor of a high-rise apartment complex in southern New Jersey.

The fire broke out just after midnight Monday in Pennsauken at the Cooper River Plaza apartments. Officials say smoke from the fire traveled throughout the 14-story building and forced the evacuation of about 350 residents.

Firefighters brought the flames under control in about 30 minutes.
