Archdiocesan elementary schools in Philadelphia closed Monday due to cold

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has announced that parish and regional elementary schools in the city will be closed Monday due to the bitter cold.

The closure only applies to Catholic elementary schools in Philadelphia.

A pre-scheduled staff development day will still take place for Archdiocesan high school teachers.
