Police ID man fatally shot during argument in Tioga

Philadelphia police are investigating a homicide in the city's Tioga section.

TIOGA (WPVI) -- Police have identified the victim shot after an argument between two men turned violent in Philadelphia's Tioga section.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday morning on the 1600 block of Staub Street.

The victim, 25-year-old James Brown, was found with gunshot wounds to the chest and the neck.

Police say he had been arguing with another man when the suspect pulled out a gun.

Medics rushed the Brown to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the shooter fled the scene northbound on Germantown Avenue.

No word what let up the to the incident.
