Armed man robs Egg Harbor Township hotel

EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating an armed robbery at an Egg Harbor Township hotel.

It happened around midnight Sunday at the Travelodge Atlantic City Bayside on the 7000 block of E Black Horse Pike in West Atlantic City.

Police say the suspect was armed with a semi-automatic handgun.

It is not yet known what was taken.

Police are reviewing surveillance video.

They believe this may be connected to robberies at other locations in the area.

No injuries were reported.
