Armed man robs victim at King of Prussia ATM

Police are searching for this ATM robbery suspect.

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. (WPVI) -- An armed man pretended to use an ATM prior to robbing a victim at a bank in Upper Merion Township, police say.

It happened on Monday at the Wells Fargo Bank located at Route 202 and Henderson Road in King of Prussia.

Police say after pretending to use an ATM, the armed suspect approached the victim from behind while he was conducting a transaction.

The suspect displayed a handgun during the incident.

Police say the suspect then fled the area in a vehicle described as a newer model white Ford Fusion or similar Mazda vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30 years old, thin build, 5'11 tall, 160 pounds, with a scraggly beard. He was wearing a dark gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt with several emblems on it, blue jeans, a light striped knit hat, and glasses.

No one was injured.
