ELKINS PARK, Pa. (WPVI) -- Authorities in Montgomery County are searching for two men who stole a large amount of prescription narcotics from an Elkins Park pharmacy.
It happened around 1:08 p.m. Tuesday at the Wellness First Pharmacy on the 400 block of Township Line Road.
Police say a black male, 6'1 to 6'2 tall, wearing a gray hoodie with blue scrub bottoms, a blue surgical mask and a stethoscope around his neck entered the store and pulled out a silver long barreled revolver at two employees.
Police say he handed the employees a note which read "give narcotics" and "you won't get hurt."
Approximately two minutes later, police say a second suspect described as a black male carrying a red suitcase and wearing an oversized jacket entered the store.
The two men loaded a large amount of prescription narcotics into the suitcase and exited through the rear door.
Police say the males escaped in a silver color Toyota Sienna which has been located.
There were no shots fired and there were no injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
