Arrest made after standoff at Langhorne motel

LANGHORNE, Pa. (WPVI) -- A man has been arrested after day-long standoff at a motel in Langhorne, Pa.

The incident began around 7:15 a.m. at the Mall Motel at 4331 Old Lincoln Highway.

There, police say, 51-year-old Russell Treloar of Levittown was barricaded inside, armed with a handgun.

He fired multiple gunshots inside the room and refused demands to come out, police say.

Then, around 3:45 p.m., he was taken into custody by members of SWAT.

He sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the incident.

Treloar will be charged with reckless endangerment, terroristic threats, and related offenses.
