Blaze forces 9 people from their Parkside house

Officials say nine people were displaced after a fire damaged their house in Philadelphia's Parkside section early Monday morning.

The blaze broke out around 1:15 a.m. on the 5100 block of Harlan Street.

Firefighters arrived to heavy flames showing on the second floor. They also heard smoke alarms going off.

They were able to place the blaze under control within twenty minutes.

So far, there are no reports of injuries.

Investigators are working to determine what sparked the blaze.
