Body found in Pennypack Creek in Mayfair

MAYFAIR (WPVI) -- Police are investigating after a body was discovered in Pennypack Creek in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 1:00 Sunday afternoon near the Rhawn Street entrance between Lexington and Rowland streets.

Few details have been released about the investigation.

No word on the victim's gender or identity.
