Body of man found on West Philadelphia street

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a suspicious death of a man whose body was found on a West Philadelphia street.

The discovery was made shortly before 7:00 a.m. Sunday on the 5100 block of Webster Street.

Police say the victim, described as 50 to 60 years old, suffered a possible gunshot wound to the left side of the neck.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further details have been released.
