Boy, 5, home alone calls 911 saying he's hungry

A Wisconsin mother is behind bars after her 5-year-old son called 911 because he was alone, hungry and scared.

Police say the little boy was left alone for more than four hours with his 10-month-old brother.

A witness, Desirae Nichols said, "The little boy called 911 because he was hungry and he didn't know what to do. And as I was actually standing there. I watched the cops bring McDonalds to the little boys and feed them."

The boys mother, Darnisha Robinson was taken to jail on preliminary charges of child neglect.
