Boy gets stuck in escalator at Oxford Valley Mall

LANGHORNE, Pa. (WPVI) -- A 7-year-old boy was hospitalized after he got stuck in an escalator in the Oxford Valley Mall.

It happened around 4:00 p.m. Sunday.

Middle Township police say the boy suffered an injury to his foot.

He was taken to St. Mary's Hospital then transferred to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for treatment. No word on his condition.

Officials closed down the escalator after the accident.

The incident is under investigation.
