Police say a 9-year-old boy was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident in Camden, New Jersey Friday night.

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police say a 9-year-old boy was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident in Camden, New Jersey Friday night.

The incident happened around 10:40 p.m. at 32nd and Westfield Avenue.

The impact of the crash sent the boy approximately 20 feet in the parking lot of Freddy's restaurant.

He was flown to Cooper Hospital with serious injuries but is expected to be okay.

Police are still looking for the hit-and-run driver.
