LAS VEGAS (WPVI) -- A Nevada woman charged with a crime avoided jail time because she's breastfeeding.

Kristen Fleming was sentenced to two weeks in jail following a fight with her husband in Las Vegas..

But she started an online campaign to avoid going behind bars because she's nursing her 6-month-old twins.

Fleming started a change.org petition to reverse that decision.

"My biggest concern is the stress they've would've gone through because they don't use bottles," she said.

Fleming added, "I was really surprised at the success. I had people commenting from New Zealand, the U.K., Ireland and Canada."

And it worked. The judge reversed his decision.

Some have applauded the judge's change of heart while others call it a double standard.
