4 children hurt in Delaware school bus crash

GREENVILLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Police and paramedics responded to the scene of an accident involving a school bus in Greenville, Delaware Tuesday afternoon.

It was shortly after 2:00 p.m. when a bus and a 2009 Hyundai Sonata collided along the 3800 block of Kennett Pike.

Children ranging in age from 10 to 18 were on the bus at the time of the collision.

Four children on the bus were transported to DuPont Hospital as a precaution after sustaining minor injuries.

The operators of bus and the Hyundai were uninjured.

The right lane of Kennett Pike was closed while the investigation was conducted and the scene cleared.

Troopers continue to investigate the circumstance surrounding the crash.
