Cameras capture shooting in broad daylight in North. Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are asking for the public's help in their search for the person who opened fire on a SUV in North Philadelphia on Wednesday.

It was around 3:30 p.m. when a red Jeep Laredo with a 23-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman inside stopped at a red light at 3060 North 23rd Street.

While stopped an older model green Ford Taurus station wagon pulled directly behind the SUV.

Cameras were rolling as the gunman exited the passenger side of the Taurus and starting firing shots at the Jeep.

The suspect is then seen getting back into the Taurus and the car fled the area going west on Clearfield Street.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 30 years-of-age, medium complexion, stocky build, possible beard, wearing a dark gray/black t-shirt with a logo on the front, and light blue jeans.
