A car crashed into a Boston Market in Delaware.

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- A car crashed into a Newark, Delaware Boston Market Tuesday afternoon.

The crash occurred around 3:45 p.m. on the 1000 block of South College Avenue.

Police say the vehicle was traveling on Welch Tract Road when the driver lost control.

The vehicle jumped the curb and crashed into the Boston Market sending customers scrambling.

One patron inside the restaurant sustained a minor injury due to debris, but refused medical attention.

The driver was cited for careless driving.
