Car slams into pharmacy in Torresdale

TORRESDALE (WPVI) -- Police say a driver lost control and crashed into a pharmacy in Philadelphia's Torresdale section.

It happened around 5:30 Friday afternoon in the 9400 block of State Road.

The vehicle crashed into the Delaire Pharmacy.

The driver and a passenger were able to escape without serious injuries.

Fortunately the pharmacy was closed at the time.

Police are investigating.
