Chicken coop catches fire in Franklin Township

FRANKLIN TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Firefighters in Gloucester County were called to a fire at a Franklin Township chicken coop.

The fire started around 3:15 p.m. Monday on the 400 block of Harding Highway (Route 40).

Action News is told 911 calls came in originally for a brush fire in the area.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they discovered the chicken coop was burning.

There is no word on if any chickens were injured in the fire.
