Child reported missing in Nevada sought in Philadelphia

Police are looking for a child who was reported missing in Nevada but is now believed to be in the Philadelphia area.

2-year-old Pele Watkins III was reported missing in June 2014 from Las Vegas. He is believed to be with his father, 38-year-old Pele Watkins.

The Department of Human Services learned of the child's whereabouts on the 2200 block of West Huntingdon Street.

When authorities arrived Wednesday to that location, the child and his father were not found.

Watkins is believed to be driving a 2003 silver SL500 Mercedes with a Nevada vanity tag #PEMP.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Philadelphia Police immediately.
