Child struck by hit-and-run driver in Bristol Township

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police in Bucks County are investigating a hit-and-run accident that injured a child.

It happened before 7:30 a.m. Thursday at route 413 and Winder Driver in Bristol Township.

Police say a motorist struck a child and kept going.

The striking vehicle was last seen heading toward the Burlington Bristol Bridge.

Action News is told the child was being treated for cuts and bruises and is expected to be okay.
