FREDERICK, Md. -- A controversial billboard in Frederick, Maryland is scheduled to be torn down Tuesday.

The billboard says "Addiction is Preventable. Parenting is Prevention."

Critics say it's sending the wrong message, and doling out unfair blame.

They started a petition over the weekend to get the billboard taken down, getting more than 25-hundred signatures in less than a day.

Local health officials say they never meant any harm, just to highlight the power of observant, active parenting.
