Police have charged a man and a woman for fourteen burglaries and one attempted burglary in five counties in New Jersey.

Police have charged a man and a woman for fourteen burglaries and one attempted burglary in five counties in New Jersey.

Christopher Weldon, 35, and Sabrina Givens, 37, have been charged with allegedly stealing cigarettes, cigars and cash.

Police say they took more than $40,000 from convenience stores and gas stations between November 30th and January 7th.

In each case, authorities say Weldon and Givens entered the stores by prying a door or smashing the glass.

Weldon and Givens were charged with numerous counts of burglary, theft, criminal mischief and conspiracy.

Weldon is being held in the Cape May County Jail, and Givens is being held in the Atlantic County Jail.
