YEADON, Pa. (WPVI) -- The Delaware County district attorney is requesting your help finding a killer.

Thirty-seven-year-old Rodney Talbo Shelton of North Carolina is wanted by authorities.

Shelton is charged with murder and robbery in the killing of 63-year-old Thomas Childs.

"He shows up to work in the early morning hours of June 9, 2015. of course he never comes home from work because the perpetrator, the defendant in this particular case, in cold blood, kills him in a failed botched robbery," said Jack Whelan, Delaware County District Attorney.

Yeadon police found the body of Childs in this industrial complex next to his delivery truck in the loading dock of Ridgway Industries.

At the time of the murder, witnesses say Shelton had a slight mustache and was wearing a light gray hoodie.

The murder weapon, a 9mm handgun, and the victim's cell phone were found nearby in Fernwood Cemetery. Officials traced the handgun to its owner in North Carolina, who admitted she gave the weapon to Shelton.

Authorities were also able to pinpoint Shelton's travels.

"We were able to track his entry into Philadelphia through Megabus, and his exit out of the Philadelphia region through Megabus. We were also able to document, through acquaintances and friends, that he actually confessed," said Whelan.

There is a $20,000 reward for just Shelton's location.

"You don't have to testify in this case. You need to be able to point to where he is. We'll go get him. All we need to know is where he is at. We already have sufficient evidence to convict him," said Whelan.
