CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A man from Camden was shot to death right in front of a group of children.

Four months have passed, and police have still not made an arrest.

Now they are asking for the public's help.

Detectives say the events of Friday April 15th are some of the most brazen they have ever seen.

At about 7 p.m. 34-year-old Abdullah Fussell was standing near the corner of 8th and Chelten streets in Camden when he was shot multiple times.

"This homicide took place in broad daylight, in the middle of a crowded intersection," said Detective Christopher Sarson of the Camden Co. Prosecutor's Office. "We know there were dozens of witnesses and many, many young children that were out there playing."

Investigators say it was a miracle no one was hurt.

"There could easily been several more people, several more victims," said Sarson.

The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $1,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

All you have to do is call 215-546-TIPS. All calls will remain anonymous.
