PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- On Jan. 14, 2014, Branden Agnew was at his home in the 5700 block of Hadfield Avenue with his girlfriend and three children when he received a call around 10 p.m. on his cell phone.

"He had just received a phone call and they said he went outside to talk to the person who called him and that's when it happened," said William Rose, Agnew's uncle.

Police say as Agnew stood outside he was gunned down.

"This just can't keep happening on our streets," said Rose.

Agnew was pronounced dead at the scene.

"It just seems like a repeat of the early 90s in Philadelphia and it's just getting worse," said Rose.

The City of Philadelphia is offering up to $20,000 for anyone that comes forward with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

Agnew's family say they are keeping his memory alive for his children.

"They miss their daddy every day," said Rose.
