CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A reward is being offered to find the person who gunned down a young father in Camden.

"People around him just gravitated to him because he smiled a lot," said Phillip Money.

Money is honest about his son Armir.

"My son was not perfect, period. He was a typical young man. I know in the end he was an upright guy," said Money.

At about 4:40 a.m. on Sunday November 9th police were called to North Front and Vine Streets in Camden for reports of a shooting.

When they arrived they couldn't locate a victim.

A short time later, they were told a gunshot victim had arrived at Cooper University Hospital.

The victim was 24-year-old Armir. He was pronounced dead just before 6:00 a.m.

Investigators say they have surveillance video of Armir going in and out of an after-hours club before he was shot.

"We're hoping that someone who is watching this will call and give us information as to who was at the after-hours spot and can give us information as to what happened after," said Detective Frank Simpson, Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $1,000 for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

Simply call 215-546-TIPS (8477). All calls will remain anonymous.

Money gets especially choked up when he talks about Armir's 7-week-old daughter.

"He passed away before he could experience that 8th week and that troubles me," he said.

Money just wants someone to come forward.

"The bottom line is that while you're not telling it's happening to another family," he said.
