The Citizens Crime Commission is offering a $1,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Tito Gomez attended a party on June 14 in the 2800 block of Mitchell Street in Camden.

Just after midnight, police were called to the scene for shots fired.

"There's four people shot in this homicide investigation. Three survived and one, unfortunately, died," said Det. Michael Rhoads with the Camden Co. Prosecutor's Office.

Forty-four-year-old Gomez succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

"From our investigation we don't believe he was the intended victim - wrong place, wrong time," said Rhoads.

The Citizens Crime Commission is offering a $1,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

"We know there's several people out there who have information, we're looking for them to come forward," said Rhoads.

Police warn the public the person of interest is dangerous.

"The person that's involved was shooting indiscriminately, said Rhoads. "Several houses were hit, several cars were hit."
