Upper Darby police say a man is out on bail after being arrested in connection with an assault at a Wawa store.

UPPER DARBY, Pa. (WPVI) -- Upper Darby police say a man is out on bail after being arrested in connection with an assault at a Wawa store.

45-year-old Gary Edwards was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.

He is free on $25,000 bail.

The incident happened at the store on 69th Street near Patterson Avenue around 5:00 p.m. Sunday.

Police say Edwards punched a 47-year-old man in the face because he thought the man was ogling his daughter.

The victim was treated for a cut to his head and a possible concussion.

Edwards' preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 4th.
