Marine animal experts are trying to figure out why giant sea turtles are dying off the coasts of Delaware and New Jersey.

On Tuesday beach goers found a turtle on the beach near 2nd Street South in Brigantine.

Three loggerhead turtles have also washed up in South Bethany, Dewey and Slaughter Beaches since Friday.

If you see a turtle in Delaware, the Marine Education Research and Recovery Institute asks that you call their stranding hotline by dialing (302) 228-5029.
